Decoding Soft Material Properties with Cutting-Edge Measurements
We develop cutting-edge measurement techniques to evaluate soft material properties that have been difficult to capture with conventional methods. Through in-situ measurements, micro- and nanoscale characterization, and the design and fabrication of original instruments and MEMS devices, we elucidate the relationships between structure, dynamics, and properties, and expand the capabilities of material characterization.
